"The mean of Tuneup is increasing computer speed. As we know that if we are using our computer since long time then we feel that this is running slow.It can be that it takes 5-10 minutes to start machine and when it start you feel that you need to wait 2-3 minutes before doing any thing. if you open any program it takes too much time so it is time to Tuneup your computer".

"Increasing the speed and performance of computer is known as Tuneup"

"We need to Tuneup computer once a week"

 Computer needs tuneup because if we are using our machine and using various program then our system stores some temporary files which reduce computer speed and if we install any program it added automatically in start-up so we need to take care of it if we want our computer faster as it was initially

How To Tuneup Computer:  In this section i will let you know how to Tuneup our windows computer/ Mac computer / Linux machine.

Types of Tuneup:
There are two ways of tuneup
                                            Manual  Tuneup
                                            Software Tuneup
I always prefer Manual Tuneup. you can choose any tuneup Manual/Software.

Create a restore point before doing any changes to computer.
  Manual Tuneup:

1. Delete Temporary Files
Windows Key + R  ====>  Run  ===>  %temp% ===> OK ===> Select all files (Ctrl+A) ===> Shift+Delete (To delete all Temporary Files) It will remove all temporary files of current user.
   To Delete all user's temporary files
Windows Key + R  ====>  Run  ===>  temp ===> OK ===> Select all files (Ctrl+A) ===> Shift+Delete (To delete all Temporary Files) It will remove temporary files of all user.

2. Remove unused Application/Software
Windows Key +R ===> Run ===> appwiz.cpl ===> Select unused software and click on uninstall ( Remove unused toolbars and software make sure that do not delete any necessary software.

3. Uncheck start-up Application
Windows Key +R ===> Run ===> msconfig ===> startup ===> (only necessary Application like Wireless printer/ wireless lan card should be checked and uncheck all other ===> OK

4. Disk Cleanup
 Windows Key +R ===> Run ===>  cleanmgr ===> Select all boxes ===>OK ===>Click on Delete.

5. Turn on Windows Firewall
Windows Key +R ===> firewall.cpl ===> Click on on ===> OK

6. Update your Antivirus  and scan complete computer (full scan). if you don't have Antivirus install any one of these (Antivirus Download) and scan complete computer.

7. Run a Disk Defragmentation
for windows xp ===> dfrg.msc ===> select drive and click on defragment
for vista/windows 7/windows 8 ===>dfrgui

8. System File Check
 Scan windows files for vista/windows7/windows8
Windows key + R ===> Run ===> cmd ===> sfc/scannow

9. Disk Check
Windows Key + R ===> Run ===> cmd  ===> chkdsk /f

10. Remove Prefetch
     Prefetch is used to make computer faster but if we are using computer since long time then it stores many files which we don't use this time so we can remove prefetch and then restart computer 3-4 times so it will automatically build necessary prefetch files.
Windows Key + R ===> Run ===> prefetch ===> select All ===>Shift+delete 

11. Change Prefetch Settings
Windows Key + R ===> Run ===> regedit===>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE===>SYSTEM===>CurrentControlSet===>Control===>Session Manager===>Memory Management===>PrefetchParameters
                                                                           || 
                                                                           ^
                                                               EnablePrefetcher
                                       (Windows allows 4 options: 0, 1, 2 and 3.)
                            Change it to number 2 ===> OK  ===> reboot computer

12. Instead of double  clicking every item, Windows makes it easy to convert to a single click.
Just :-

Control Panel>Folder Options>General>Click items as follows>Select single click>Apply>OK

13. Update your windows and drivers

Restart computer 3-4 times to check it is working fine

14. Remove all events of your computer.
 Download this batch file Click Here
Run this file as an administrator.
  


                                                        Software Tuneup 
 In Software Tuneup we use some tools to remove temporary files and unused registry. Best tools  are:
  Ccleaner
  ATF Cleaner

  
Please do not use any software for cleaning which you really don't know because they can be harmful foryour computer.
We can run some Anti-Malware Scan like :- MalwareBytes  Rogue-killer Tdskiller  HijackThis

To remove all events of event viewer download this batch file and run as  administrator. Click here

1.  Run Disk Utility
2.  Software Update
3.  Browser  Reset and Update
4.  Run  Ccleaner
