What is the difference between a MAC address and an LLC address
Actually data link layer has two sub
layers one MAC and second LLC.
Mac address deals with the hardware address of Lan card which is hard coded and cant be changed , it is unique for every lan card.
second Logical link control (LLC) protocol data units (PDUs) contain addressing information. This addressing information consists of two fields; the Destination Service Access Point (DSAP) address field, and the Source Service Access Point (SSAP) address field. Each of these is an 8-bit field and each is made up of two components.
